Controversial Essay Topics For the 2020 Elections
Controversial Essay Topics For the 2020 ElectionsIn the midst of the essay writing frenzy, there are a number of topics that can be used as topic options for the 2020 elections. Some of these include the economic collapse of the last decade, the troubles in Iraq and Afghanistan, and President Obama's promise to eliminate the unemployment rate for American citizens by the end of his first term. These topics are a perfect fit for writers who are looking for topics that are 'hot button' and in-your-face, or who may want to create strong political statements with their essays. They also allow essay writers to use their own opinions about the various issues and add their own spin on them. Here are a few examples of controversial essay topics for the 2020 elections. The Stimulus Package: In November of last year, President Obama's package of free money to the economy was a hot topic of discussion. That debate rages on today. Some people believe the stimulus package worked, while others belie ve it is a failure. What is undeniable is that the stimulus package and its release have brought a lot of attention to current events. The National Debt: Although President Obama has tried to eliminate the national debt, a recent Congressional Budget Office report showed that he cannot eliminate the national debt within the next 10 years. A recent study on tax cuts also shows that most Americans do not believe that they will help reduce the national debt. People are either on the side of doing something to control the national debt, or they are not.Gay Marriage: Gay marriage has been a topic of contention in recent years. Several states now allow same sex couples to be married, and many other countries around the world allow it.The Tea Party: The Tea Party is an often-cited example of what happens when people are not satisfied with the status quo. When it was first formed, it was seen as a way to unseat President Obama. However, after much negative publicity, many of the leaders have distanced themselves from the movement, and it is no longer considered the effective movement that was originally perceived.Star Wars: Science fiction writers are coming up with new storylines about the now famous film. Their newest novels include storylines about how President Obama came to his decision to cancel the space shuttle program, as well as his future plans for dealing with the problems we have on the Space Station. There are many more 'Star Wars' themed novels as well, and some include hidden messages and hints about what may happen in the future. These are just a few of the topics of public debate today, and they may come up again in the future. After all, current events are always in the news, and people are always debating the issues that matter to them. In the end, the controversy is based on the opinions of people and what they think is right.

Compare and Contrast Essay Samples - Are You Ready to Apply It?
Compare and Contrast Essay Samples - Are You Ready to Apply It?Have you ever tried to use 'compare and contrast' essay samples? Maybe it's time you just tried to use this technique to your benefit, and then again maybe it isn't for you.I know of course students who have used this to good effect. Students often try to write a high-quality essay by first reading in depth about a topic related to the topic of the essay. Then they come up with a conclusion based on what they have read, without really considering all the different options available.Often, if not always, this leads to an argument that is incorrect, or at the very least incorrect based on the facts and not necessarily the facts based on their position. In my opinion, any good college student should be able to come up with a counter-argument based on the facts available to them, and from that conclusion, they can arrive at a conclusion about the issue at hand. This is a very popular version of 'compare and contrast', and as l ong as it's presented correctly, it doesn't really need to be used in a more general way. I think it is useful in many types of essays, but when there is no other way to deal with the fact that one side has taken a position that is based on an inaccurate premise, it is best to go with the other side and present some facts that may support their viewpoint. The 'compare and contrast' method can also be used by the teacher in making an argument for a certain view point. With the benefit of hindsight, it is possible to see through someone's view point the flaws in it, and that could be something to consider before making an argument. After all, if you can see the flaws, then you will be prepared to properly respond to them in the future.Another way to look at it is that students are probably having a hard time with what they believe. They may be afraid of writing something that contradicts what they believe. What better way to challenge their beliefs than to read the counter-arguments of fered by other experts in the field? If they have a problem with a paragraph, they can easily move on to the next paragraph and work on those main points until they are satisfied with their main points. This can help reinforce their beliefs about the subject. If you feel that you would benefit from the 'compare and contrast' essay samples, do what you can to learn the skills. Then go ahead and apply it to your own essays.
